The mist didn't last long, though, and Shirley decided to enter the park and continue on up, so we finally met up just a little farther on, at around 1pm. I didn't need a rest, but I decided to pull over and put on a jacket; even though it was still very nice, the temperature was definitely dropping as we were ascending.
